The backbone of every safety plan, project, or analysis is the Risk Assessment. Through this process, our team will identify all possible means of employee duress. These can range from the realm of ergonomics to electrical or mechanical threats.
We will analyze all hazards based on:
- Severity of the hazard
- Probability of an incident occurring
- Frequency of presented hazards
After the hazards are identified and the levels of risk is established ITG will use ISO and OSHA approved processes to reduce these risks and present you and your employees with a safe and functioning solution. Our team is TÜV Rheinland trained and certified to evaluate, design, engineer and certify your machines’ safety-related parts of a control systems (SRP/CS).

The Safety 3-Step Method

ITG utilizes the 3-Step Risk Reduction Method from ISO 12100 and specializes in designs and validations adhering to ISO 13849.
‍Step 1: Inherently Safe Design Measures — To put it plainly, in this step we use well-tried engineer design practices to design a system as safely as possible. This is the only step where hazards can be eliminated.
Step 2: Safeguarding — The use of safeguards such as Light Curtains (ESPE) or Fixed Guards are used to safely allow tasks to be performed.
Step 3: Information For Use — After all design and engineering methods have been used, items such as Safety Manuals, Safety Warning Placards, PPE, and warning lights can be used to further educate and protect.

Workplace Safety Management

ITG can provide detailed workplace safety reports for your business. From Administrative controls and documentation reviews to creating Job Safety Analysis forms and full Workplace safety audits, ITG workplace safety reporting has you covered. All in an effort of providing you and your employees the safest environment possible.
‍Job Safety Analysis (JSA) Forms: This documentation enables employees to participate in identifying hazards and substandard practices in the workplace. The JSA process encourages safe work processes by bringing job safety to a personal level.
